BackgroundMy professional career began at the U.S. Army Computer Science School at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana, where I learned IBM computer operations and systems architecture. After five years of working in operations, attending college, and receiving government training, I became a programmer/analyst working with a variety of systems including IBM, Intel, VAX, DEC, Datapoint, VM/CMS, DOS/VSE, MVS/TSO, UNIX, Xenix, and VMS. After learning to speak the German language, I exited the U.S. Military while serving a tour in Germany and began working for Amadeus Global Travel (Luftansa, SAS, Air France, and Iberia Airlines).
